Yamen El Ahmar Appointed CEO of “TTEC Egypt” Succeeding Amira Basyuni
According to Ta3heed newsletter, Engineer Yamen El Ahmar has been appointed as the CEO of TTEC Egypt, succeeding Amira Basyuni.
El Ahmar brings 26 years of experience in the customer experience (CX) and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries.
As the head of the company’s branches in Egypt and a member of the executive leadership team for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region at TTEC, Yamen leads business growth, operational excellence, and client success.
His expertise spans strategy, large-scale operations management, and organizational transformation.
He has led teams of up to 10,000 employees, successfully scaling operations and launching high-impact projects that contributed to revenue growth and strengthened market presence.
Yamen is also known for building strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation in services.
At TTEC, Yamen focuses on enhancing market presence, developing service offerings, and contributing to shaping the future of customer experience by providing innovative, human-centered solutions.
It is worth noting that TTEC launched its pilot operations in Egypt in 2023, and since then, the company has experienced significant growth, reaching approximately 260 employees in 2024.
In November 2024, TTEC was granted a license to establish and operate call centers by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA).
In February 2025, Dr. Amr Talaat, the Minister of Communications, inaugurated the company’s headquarters in the Maadi Technology Zone.
At that time, TTEC announced plans to increase its workforce in Egypt to 800 employees by 2026, providing customer service, acquisition, fraud prevention and detection, and content moderation services.
