National Telecommunication Institute Launches Second Cyber Security Academy in Assiut Technology Park

Silicon Waha has announced that the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has launched the second edition of its Cyber Security Academy for Youth and Children.

This initiative aims to train 5,000 participants across 10 governorates.

The second edition of the academy began last week at the Assiut New Technology Park, with attendance from leadership of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and its affiliated entities.

The program targets three key groups: school students (ages 10-17), university students, and recent graduates.

The training covers cybersecurity fundamentals, privacy protection, preparation for international certifications, alongside freelancing skills and practical training opportunities.

This program reflects Egypt’s commitment to building a secure digital future and expanding technological education nationwide.

This expansion of cybersecurity education is a crucial step for Egypt.
