Today Minister of Communications spoke to us Sunday, February 2, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, confirmed that the outsourcing industry in Egypt enjoys many competitive advantages.
Talat explained in exclusive statements to the “Ta3heed” newsletter that achieving this goal depends on an integrated strategy that reflects the government’s ambitious vision to develop the outsourcing industry.
The strategy includes expanding the outsourcing services market by attracting more global investments, in addition to providing advanced services such as software, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
He pointed out that the outsourcing industry extends to the governorates, as there are 14 of the largest companies in the world in the outsourcing industry that have centers outside Cairo, which reflects the spread of this industry throughout the republic and contributes to providing distinguished job opportunities for young people in the governorates.

ITIDA: Europe is the continent that invests the most in the outsourcing industry in Egypt
Recent data issued by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) revealed that Europe tops the list of the world’s continents investing the most in the outsourcing services industry in Egypt, with 54 companies, followed by North America with 42 entities, then the Arabian Gulf region with 20 players, 10 Asian companies and 4 African companies.
The 54 European companies are distributed among 20 entities from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, 13 from France and the Benelux countries, 9 from the United Kingdom and 12 others from the rest of the European markets.

Report: $1.3 trillion is the size of global IT outsourcing by 2034
A report prepared by precedenceresearch revealed that the size of the global IT services outsourcing market will reach $1.3 trillion by 2034, compared to $611.8 billion in 2024, at a compound annual growth rate of 8.2%.
The Asia-Pacific IT outsourcing market size was around $220.3 billion last year, rising to $491.1 billion in 2034, at a CAGR of 8.34%.
North America’s revenue is expected to grow significantly in this area from 2024 to 2034, supported by increased customer demand for outsourcing of telecom systems management and IT operations.
