Foundever Egypt Aims for 200 Seats in Luxor Center by End of 2025
Foundever Egypt, a prominent outsourcing services company, plans to expand its call center in Luxor during the last quarter of this year.
This move is part of the company’s broader growth strategy within the Egyptian market.
Mina Wahba, the company’s General Manager, stated that the Luxor center currently houses 50 seats, with plans to increase that number to 200.
This expansion is intended to enhance service delivery to European clients from Egypt, with the new facilities expected to be operational before the end of 2025.
Wahba emphasized in remarks to the “Outsourcing” newsletter that Luxor boasts a significant pool of young talent proficient in foreign languages, particularly English and German.
This is largely due to the city’s vibrant tourism sector. Additionally, Luxor is home to one of Egypt’s strongest universities, which includes a Faculty of Al-Alsun (Languages) that consistently graduates many young people skilled in various foreign languages.
It’s worth noting that Foundever currently provides its services from City Stars Mall in Nasr City and the Smart Village in Maadi, offering support in 14 languages, including English, German, French, and Italian.
This expansion into Luxor highlights the growing trend of outsourcing companies leveraging talent outside of major metropolitan areas in Egypt. How do you think this decentralization of operations will impact the regional job market and local economies?
