
Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, participated in the events of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.
The event was held in Barcelona, Spain, with the participation of over 100,000 people and more than 2,700 exhibitors from the world’s leading technology companies.
During his visit, the minister held a series of intensive meetings with executives from global companies, aimed at boosting foreign investments in outsourcing and supporting Egypt’s leadership as a global hub for IT services.

Dr. Amr Talaat met with a number of senior executives from leading global companies, and the discussions covered the following areas:
Sigma Technology: Discussed expansion plans in Egypt in outsourcing and the provision of technical services.
Palo Alto Networks: Explored opportunities for collaboration in cybersecurity and building digital capabilities in Egypt.
Huawei: Covered ways to collaborate on cloud computing, artificial intelligence applications, and supporting startups.
Ericsson: Reviewed the latest 5G technologies and discussed enhancing collaboration in building digital capabilities and supporting innovation.
Salesforce: Explored the possibility of establishing a research and development center in Egypt to strengthen the company’s presence in the region.
Celfocus: Discussed setting up a digital academy in Egypt to train specialized IT professionals.
Greyskies: Addressed the company’s expansion plans for providing IT services in Egypt to support its clients in the United States.
