Derek Gallimore, founder and CEO of Outsource Accelerator – the first platform for providing advice and information to companies working in the field of outsourcing services, which he founded in 2011, was born in the United Kingdom.
Derek grew up in a small town in New Zealand, surrounded by supportive parents and a single brother. As a child, Derek was fond of the ideal television images of Wall Street bankers.
He went on to study nursing and health sciences and worked in this profession for some time, but this professional life was not suitable for him.
Derek got involved in small business when he was seventeen years old, but it was not until 2001 that he got his first big opportunity when he was able to buy his first investment property in the English capital, London.
Just six months later, Gallimore purchased his second property, then over the next 5-6 years he purchased and developed more than a dozen more.
Derek has more than a decade of experience in the outsourcing and outsourcing services industry, especially from the capital of the Philippines, Manila.
Derek first discovered outsourcing in 2001 when he needed to create 24/7 customer service for his company in London.
Within a few months, Derek set up a 24/7 customer service in Manila to serve the London company’s clients.
