From Banha to the World… “Silicon Expert” Exports Egyptian Technology
Silicon Expert is the largest integrated information platform on the global market for electronic device components, encompassing over a billion units. It is a subsidiary of the global Arrow Electronics group, which was founded in 1935 in New York, USA.
The parent group serves several companies listed on the “Fortune 500” in various sectors, including aviation and automotive.
Silicon Expert provides its services in Egypt through two locations, one in Cairo and the other in Banha, which serves as its main operations center.
The company employs over 500 engineers in Egypt and has multidisciplinary teams in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, cybersecurity, and data compliance and quality.
It exports its high-value services to more than 53 countries worldwide from Egypt.
It is worth noting that the Arrow group has executed acquisitions of several entities in India, Britain, Australia, America, and Taiwan in recent years, including eInfochips, UM Electronics Network, and ATM Electronic.
A few days ago, during his visit to the Qalyubia Governorate, Dr. Amr Talaat inspected the Silicon Expert headquarters in Banha. He emphasized that the American company’s choice of Banha confirms that digital talents and competencies are not limited to a specific governorate but exist throughout the country.
Talaat praised the young talents from the governorate working at Silicon Expert to provide in-depth, specialized, high-value services from Banha to various countries around the world.
He added that the outsourcing industry does not require production inputs and relies on the human mind, creativity, and trained personnel, which are the foundation of the outsourcing industry.
He explained that the Ministry is working to provide training initiatives in various governorates to create a base of trained personnel for companies operating in the outsourcing field.
