“Rania”: From “Headset” to Leading Vodafone Intelligent Solutions Egypt (VOIS)
In a professional journey spanning over 27 years, Rania Salah has secured a prominent position among female leaders in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
She currently serves as the CEO of Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS) Egypt, one of the largest outsourcing service providers in the Egyptian market.
Rania began her career in 1998 as a customer service representative at Vodafone Egypt.
Over the years, she advanced within the organization, armed with extensive experience and leadership vision that enabled her to take on various leadership roles.
Eventually, she returned to the local market to lead VOIS during one of its key growth phases.
She recalls, “I started working in customer service, and I consider myself fortunate to have joined the company in its early stages.
She add “There were many risks and challenges, but, on the other hand, there were also significant opportunities for growth and development as the company expanded.”
When asked about her passion for working in outsourcing, Rania highlighted, “The main reason I was drawn to this field was my belief in my role in creating job opportunities for youth.”
VOIS serves as Vodafone’s global outsourcing arm, working in areas such as customer support, information technology, and commercial services.
The company employs thousands of people in Egypt and provides services to markets around the world.
