“Sobhy”… The Leader of Digital Transformation and Strategic Expansion for Concentrix Egypt
Amr Sobhy is one of the key Egyptian figures in the outsourcing industry, boasting 21 years of extensive experience.
Sabhy currently serves as the President of Concentrix Egypt, a global company specialized in technology and services, providing support to the world’s top brands.
He began his career in 2004 as a customer service representative at Xceed, where he advanced through various roles within the company, including contact center supervisor, contact center team leader, customer relations manager, service delivery quality manager, and service delivery support manager.
In December 2018, Sabhy joined Concentrix as a site leader in Egypt, and in July 2022, he was promoted to Vice President.
During his tenure, he has contributed to the company’s expansion in both the Egyptian and global markets. The number of employees increased from 200 in 2008 to approximately 8,500 in 2022, and is projected to reach 20,000 in the first quarter of 2025. He also played a pivotal role in opening new sites, raising the total number of locations from 5 to 12—covering Cairo and Giza, as well as Alexandria and Hurghada.
Under his leadership, the company has set ambitious expansion plans both locally and globally by attracting major brands in the Egyptian market. Competing for the leading edge in European expansion, the most recent move involved injecting about one billion dollars into the Egyptian market, which will create 16,000 new job opportunities and increase the total number of employees to 35,000 by the end of 2028.
