Roy Atkinson: From Playing the Guitar to Customer Service Analyst
Roy Atkinson is an analyst and writer specializing in customer service support for several international publications and research papers.
He also serves as the CEO and Principal Consultant for Clifton Butterfield, a company specializing in business consulting.
Roy is also a member of the International Certification Standards Committee for the HDI Institute and the Computer Support Advisory Council, in addition to being a regular speaker at the Institute’s conferences.
He learned customer service from a young age, working various jobs to cover his university tuition and pursue a musical career before transitioning into Information Technology.
Roy mastered the guitar, piano, and percussion in his childhood, managing to become a full-time musician and producer for over two decades, earning praise from a regional music magazine.
In 2011, Roy obtained a Master’s degree in Advanced Management Strategy from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
