The Egyptian market has recently witnessed a wide-scale reshuffling of top executives within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector.
Headlining these transitions is Maggie Dewidar, who has been appointed as the CEO of e-nable, a subsidiary of e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments, following her tenure as General Manager of IntouchCX Egypt.
Additionally, Hany Monem has transitioned from the South African outsourcing firm SoloGrowth to join the global player Konecta.
In another strategic move, Amira Bassiouny has joined the American customer experience firm Intelogix as Operations Director, following her success in launching the Egyptian operations for the global giant TTEC.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Gomaie recently stepped down from his position as General Manager of EGT Solutions to join another entity that has yet to be officially disclosed.
The leadership movement also includes Said Riad, who moved from Senior Sales Manager for Contact Centers at e-finance to lead SkyCX in Egypt.
Furthermore, Shaimaa Fouad transitioned from her role as Business Development Manager at Telecommunicate to join Winz Recruitment.
Global Context: Rising Executive Turnover
According to the Harvard Business Review, the global executive turnover rate reached 12.5% over the past year, up from 9.8% in 2024.
The magazine attributes this rise in leadership churn to three primary factors:
- Ongoing Economic Volatility: Forcing companies to restructure leadership to navigate market shifts.
- Evolving Leadership Skill Sets: A growing demand for executives who can manage digital transformation and AI integration.
- External Hiring Trends: An increasing preference for appointing CEOs from outside the organization to bring in fresh perspectives.
