Ta3heed Newsletter has learned from reliable IT sector sources that U.S.-based TaskUs and India’s eClerx, both leading outsourcing service providers, are currently opening new branches in Maadi Technology Park, Egypt.
According to the sources, both companies are in the process of recruiting executive teams in Egypt, with official operations expected to commence by mid-2024.

Founded in 2000, eClerx specializes in business process outsourcing (BPO), automation, and data analytics.

TaskUs: A Major U.S. Outsourcing Powerhouse
TaskUs is among the largest U.S. outsourcing firms, serving high-profile clients such as Uber, Tinder, Groupon, Whisper, HotelTonight, BetterDoctor, Gusto, Zoom, Coinbase, Netflix, and Balsa Brands.
The company boasts over 27,000 employees across 18 locations in eight countries worldwide and has been publicly listed on the U.S. stock market since June 2021.
Egypt’s Strategy to Attract Global Outsourcing Giants
The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through its developmental arm, ITIDA (Information Technology Industry Development Agency), is actively working to attract global outsourcing companies to Egypt’s market.
As part of its strategic vision, Egypt aims to become a global outsourcing hub, with a target of reaching $16 billion in outsourcing exports by 2030.
