Rama El Safty Appointed as Atos Egypt Manager, Succeeding Elharany
“Ta3heed” newsletter reported that Rama El Safty, Head of Talent Development at Egypt’s Central Technology Sector, has been appointed as the General Manager of Atos, the French digital transformation solutions company in Egypt.
She succeeds Engineer Ahmad Elharany, who is now leading Konecta in the Middle East and Africa region.
Rama brings 25 years of experience in the technology sector, particularly in sales, distribution, operations, business transformation, mergers, and acquisitions.
Konecta, which opened its Cairo office last Thursday, specializes in customer management and outsourcing services. The company employs over 130,000 people who provide services in 30 languages across 26 countries.
Rama previously held senior positions, including as the Managing Director of Andela in Egypt, a company specializing in developing technological solutions to address the global shortage of technical talent.
Before joining Andela, Rama led teams at IBM, Lenovo, and Dell across different continents, moving from Cairo to Dubai and Paris.
Rama holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in General Management and Entrepreneurship, 1 in addition to a Cambridge certificate in FinTech and Organizational Innovation 2022.
