“Octopus” Expands in Upper Egypt… Plans to Offer 250 Job Opportunities

Octopus Contact Center Services Company has agreed with Silicon Waha, a leading company in developing technology Parks in Egypt, to lease an operational space of 763 square meters within the Technology Park in New Assiut City.

Octopus is expected to provide approximately 250 job opportunities in its initial operating phases within the new center, representing a significant boost to the state’s efforts in promoting employment opportunities in Upper Egypt, particularly in the rapidly growing information technology and outsourcing services sector.

Hashem Mansi, CEO of Silicon Waha, stated that this cooperation reflects the success of the company’s vision in attracting leading entities in the outsourcing industry to the technology Parks and providing a modern operating environment that supports growth and innovation and creates real opportunities for young people.

For his part, Khaled El-Amrawy, Chairman of Octopus, affirmed that the selection of Silicon Waha in New Assiut came as a result of its provision of advanced infrastructure and operating services with global standards, noting that this step represents a qualitative leap in the company’s journey and aligns with its strategy for sustainable expansion within Egypt and abroad.

It is worth mentioning that Octopus, which was established in 2020, has managed within a short period to prove its position globally, after ranking second in the list of the top 100 outsourcing companies worldwide for 2025.

This cooperation supports the state’s efforts in empowering the outsourcing industry as one of the pillars of the digital economy and enhances Egypt’s position as a regional hub for exporting information technology services.
