“Talent Academy” .. A gateway to discovering cadres

The Egyptian Talent Academy, which was launched between the National Telecommunications Institute and Huawei, aims to build the capabilities of students and graduates in advanced technical specializations.

The most prominent technologies targeted by the academy are: 5G technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data, data networks, and other technical specializations. And qualifying trainees to pass international accreditation tests from Huawei.

The academy, which was launched in March 2024, has graduated more than 2,000 trainees and aims to train 15,000 trainees over 5 years, through Egypt’s Digital Creativity Centers spread across the country’s governorates.

In his speech during the graduation ceremony, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stressed that the launch of the Egyptian Talent Academy comes in line with the efforts made to implement Egypt’s digital strategy, which aims to build a digital society based on the importance of preparing a generation of highly skilled professionals in various communications and information technology specializations, pointing out the ministry’s keenness to expand training programs and cooperate in implementing them with international companies operating in the communications and information technology sector to enable trainees to gain technical and applied training and expertise from international companies.

Dr. Amr Talaat praised the technological specializations in the academy’s training programs and the National Telecommunications Institute’s plan to increase and diversify these specializations, adding that multiple axes are available in the training programs provided by the ministry, including honing technical skills and providing practical training in cooperation with companies, in addition to developing personal skills to enhance the capabilities of young people and provide them with the necessary experience to qualify them to compete in the global labor market.
