The outsourcing services sector in the U.S. employs between 2.5 to 3 million workers, with wages ranging from $17 to $22 per hour.

Philippines

The Philippine call center industry employs between 1.3 million to 1.5 million workers, earning $2 to $3 per hour. Manila remains a global hub for call center operations due to its English proficiency and cultural alignment with Western markets.

Latin America & the Caribbean

These regions employ 1.3 to 1.4 million call center workers, with wages between $4 and $7 per hour. Their geographical proximity to the U.S. makes them an attractive option for outsourcing customer service operations.

Eastern Europe

Approximately 1 million call center employees work in Eastern Europe, earning between $5 and $9 per hour. The region is known for its multilingual capabilities and strategic location, making it a competitive choice for servicing Western Europe.

Africa

The African call center industry employs between 700,000 to 800,000 workers, with wages comparable to India, ranging from $1.50 to $3.75 per hour.

Countries like South Africa, Egypt, and Kenya leverage their young, multilingual workforce and advanced infrastructure to grow this promising sector, which serves as an important source of foreign currency earnings.
