These areas are characterised by the availability of an ideal work environment for companies and individuals, in addition to the investment incentives granted by the government to companies operating in these areas.

Burj Al Arab Technology park

Burj Al Arab city is located 48 km southwest of Alexandria. The population of the city is 155 thousand people and it is planned to reach 750 thousand people, which will positively affect the number of visitors to the new Burj Al Arab technology zone.

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology is located next to the site, and more universities are planned, adding to the pool of qualified personnel working in the area.

The area is characterized by the availability of many means of transportation, such as train trips between Cairo and Borg El Arab, buses that cover the road from downtown Alexandria to Borg El Arab, in addition to the proximity of Borg El Arab International Airport.

The total area of ​​the area is 76 acres, while the area of ​​land on which the buildings of the first phase are built is 12 acres, which contains many buildings, namely companies, training, citizen services center, outsourcing, innovation, commercial buildings, hyper and medical services in addition to lands.

Infrastructure features

Technology parks feature high quality infrastructure that exceeds market standards.

The infrastructure was designed and supervised by Engineering Consultants Group (ECG) and implemented by Wadi El Nil Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company.

The infrastructure includes a highly efficient water and sewerage system with a 3,000 cubic metre reserve tank for drinking and fire fighting systems and a 1,000 cubic metre irrigation tank.

The infrastructure also includes communication and electricity lines, as the area is supplied with two power sources with a capacity of 17 megawatts from two different cells, and there are UPS units in addition to generators available in the event of a power outage.

All technology parks are supported with fiber optic connections between buildings; Burj Al Arab and Assiut areas include UTP technology, while Beni Suef and Sadat areas include GPON fiber optics.

In addition to a call center (central) provided by Telecom Egypt in all regions.
