What is the ITIDA Qualification for Employment Program?

The “Qualification for Employment” program is one of the human capacity development programs launched by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) in 2017.

The program provides specialized training with the aim of qualifying job seekers to join companies operating in the outsourcing field and create new job opportunities in cooperation with those companies.

ITIDA announced that the application period will be open until November 15.

In this program, the Authority cooperates with various outsourcing and training companies to bridge the gap between supply and demand for companies’ needs for qualified personnel with the following skills:

  • Technical skills.
  • Language skills (maximum two levels) and labor market skills.

Program details

  • The Authority shall bear the training costs provided that the agreed training numbers and employment rates are achieved after the completion of training and employment.
  • The company has the right to train on its own or by using an external service provider.
  • The project started in March 2023 and ends in March 2024.
  • The company is committed to providing evidence of the completion of the agreed training process.
  • The company is committed to providing evidence of the trainee’s employment in an outsourcing company.
  • The funding is disbursed from the Authority to the applying companies three months after the appointment according to each training program separately.
  • The company may change the number of trainees for each track by 25% more or less while maintaining the targeted employment rate for each track, provided that the total number of trainees is not less than the target, and with the same conditions and budget allocated to the company.

The program aims to bridge the gap between supply and demand for companies’ needs for qualified personnel.

It also aims to create a group of qualified personnel capable of joining the labor market, especially in the field of outsourcing..

Admission criteria for the qualification for employment program

  • The company must be registered in the Authority’s database.
  • The company must have a real demand to create qualified cadres in the field of outsourcing.
  • The company must have the ability to qualify human cadres inside or outside the company by using a specialized training services provider.
  • The company must commit to training and employing the agreed upon number according to the training target, which is calculated according to the following table:
