The “Ta3heed” newsletter met with the executive leadership of the American company Concentrix on the sidelines of the Global Outsourcing Summit organized by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) on November 9th and 10th.

Christopher Caldwell, the global CEO of the company, affirmed that Concentrix’s participation in the summit comes within the framework of its ongoing commitment to supporting the outsourcing sector in Egypt, noting that what he witnessed during the events reflects the government’s clear interest in developing this vital sector.

Caldwell said the summit showed that the Egyptian government is moving steadily towards developing an integrated ecosystem for the outsourcing industry, both through infrastructure development and through investment in human capital.

He pointed out that the large attendance from local and international companies confirms that the Egyptian market is of great interest.

The CEO added: “We are very happy with what we are currently seeing in Egypt, because the government is paying real attention to building an integrated digital ecosystem, and we have great confidence in the Egyptian talents, which form a gifted and promising base for growth.”

“Caldwell”: We Plan to Continue Injecting Significant Investments into Egypt in the Coming Years

Caldwell revealed that Concentrix committed at the beginning of this year to investing over $1 billion in the Egyptian market over three and a half years, explaining that the company is currently proceeding at a faster pace than planned.

He continued: “We are ahead of the schedule we set at the beginning of the year, and we expect to exceed the total planned investment volume, given the promising opportunities we see in the Egyptian market.”

Caldwell concluded his statements by confirming that his company plans to continue injecting significant investments into Egypt in the coming years, given the confidence in the investment environment and the development witnessed by the IT and outsourcing services sector.

For his part, Metin Trakci, Vice President of the global company for the Middle East and Turkey region, stressed that participating in the summit represents an important opportunity to interact with various international companies and brands operating in the field of outsourcing services and information technology, praising the positive atmosphere reflected by the events this year.

Trakci said: “What particularly caught my attention is the clear and smart strategy adopted by Egypt in supporting the outsourcing sector, which was accurately and comprehensively presented by Dr. Amr Talaat, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology.”

He affirmed that this strategy represents an exemplary model for creating an environment conducive to investment and growth.

“Trakci”: Concentrix Egypt Will Focus on Investing in Human Capital

He added that Concentrix has been operating in the Egyptian market for many years, and its team includes over 22,000 employees, making it an active part of implementing the state’s strategy and a key beneficiary of the sector’s developments.

The Vice President for the Middle East and Turkey region explained that Concentrix’s vision for the next phase is centered on investing in human capital.

Trakci continued: “Over the next few months, we aim to develop the skills of our employees and empower management leadership to keep pace with the rapid growth in our business. Therefore, training and development will be the focus of our main investments in the upcoming period.”

He noted that his company currently operates in Cairo, Alexandria, and Hurghada, and intends to expand into other cities in the near future.
