“Silicon Waha” to Launch “Waha Connect” Event Next October
Silicon Waha, the developer of Egypt’s technology parks, has announced the launch of the third edition of its “Waha Connect” event.
The event will take place at the Technology Park in the New Borg El Arab City, Alexandria, on October 12, 2025.
The “Waha Connect” event, themed “Shaping the Future of ICT,” aims to strengthen cooperation among entrepreneurs in Borg El Arab City and showcase local success stories in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector.
A number of prominent speakers will participate, including: Ahmed Youssef, Regional Director at Intelcia Egypt; Eng. Hossam Abdel Qader, Head of the Central Administration for Entrepreneurship at the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) and Director of the “Fekretak Sherketak” (Your Idea, Your Company) Center; and three entrepreneurs sponsored by ITIDA.
On the sidelines of the event, an entrepreneurship competition will be held, with a total of 60,000 EGP to be distributed to the three winning projects.
