Egypt has witnessed a significant surge in outsourcing services during the first half of this year, marked by robust expansions from major international and local companies.
This growth is backed by continuous government support and strategic plans aimed at transforming Egypt into a regional hub for the IT and communication services industry.
Key Expansions Driving Growth
Among the most prominent developments, Concentrix, an American company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) in January 2025.
This sets the stage for a $1 billion investment over four years, targeting the creation of over 16,000 new job opportunities by 2028. The company currently operates 11 customer service centers across Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and Hurghada, offering services in 12 languages to over 100 countries worldwide.
Intelcia has inaugurated its new regional headquarters in Sheikh Zayed City, aiming to create 1,300 direct job opportunities and increase its employee count to 4,000 in the near future.
The company plans to open two new centers in Greater Cairo and Alexandria in 2026, bringing its total number of centers in Egypt to four within just two years.
In a similar vein, IGT Solutions, an Indian company, has expanded its operations in Egypt with the official opening of its new headquarters in the Maadi Technology Park.
The company focuses on providing services to global markets in over 8 languages and aims to increase its employee count to 2,000 specialists by 2027, opening up recruitment opportunities in customer support, data analysis, and AI solutions.
Furthermore, TTEC, an American company, has made a strong entry into the Egyptian market by launching its technology center in Maadi, following the successful completion of its pilot operations which began in 2023.
The company specializes in providing AI-powered customer experience solutions and plans to increase its employee count to 800 over the next three years.
VXI Global Solutions, another American company, is moving forward with its expansion plans after entering the Egyptian market in 2024.
By 2025, it has reached 1,000 seats, with a plan to increase its workforce to 5,000 employees by 2028, backed by planned investments totaling $135 million. The company’s main headquarters in Cairo is located in City Stars Complex.
This accelerating momentum in outsourcing companies’ expansion reflects investor confidence in the potential of the Egyptian market, its advanced digital infrastructure, and the availability of trained young talent.
This further strengthens Egypt’s position as a major hub for the outsourcing and technology services industry in the region.
