Minister of Labor Meets World Employment Confederation President to Activate Cooperation in Shared Fields
On the sidelines of his participation in the 113th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Egypt’s Minister of Labour, Mohamed Gobran, met with Betina Schaller, President of the World Employment Confederation (WEC), and her accompanying delegation at the Egyptian Mission headquarters to discuss avenues of cooperation between the Ministry and the WEC in shared areas.
The two sides agreed to form a joint committee to communicate and explore signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Minister emphasized Egypt’s readiness to provide skilled and trained Egyptian labor, highlighting the continuous development within the Ministry of Labour to enhance the vocational training system in cooperation with the private sector.
