Egypt Courts Banks to Expand Outsourcing and Contact Center Services

In line with the state’s efforts to strengthen Egypt’s position as a regional hub for the outsourcing industry and shared services centers, Dr. Amr Talaat, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held a series of meetings with several major banks on the sidelines of his participation in the “Machines Can See 2025” summit hosted by Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

During his visit, the Minister met with officials from three major banks in the region to explore opportunities for expansion in the Egyptian market and enhance the utilization of Egypt’s competitive advantages in this field.

Meetings with Senior Bank Officials

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB): The meeting reviewed opportunities for establishing a contact center to provide support and customer service, in addition to offering shared services covering the group’s activities.

Emirates NBD: The two sides discussed the possibility of expanding in the Egyptian market through the establishment of an information technology center, alongside a contact center to serve the bank’s customers.

Mashreq Group: The meeting addressed the follow-up on the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) in February 2024, concerning the expansion of the group’s business center in Egypt.
