8 Personal Traits a Customer Service Employee Should Have
The Ta3hed Newsletter publishes a list of the most prominent personal characteristics that must be present in a person applying for a customer service position within a large company or institution.
1- The employee must be calm and not agitated.
2- He must not suffer from diabetes, heart disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or high blood pressure.
3- He must be polite in speech and have a cheerful face.
4- The employee must be well-groomed.
5- He must have good listening, understanding and perception skills.
6 – It is preferable that the employee’s age is not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years.
7- Must be punctual
8- The employee must be able to focus, be intelligent and think logically.
Qualifications required for a customer service employee
It is preferable for the customer service officer to hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Arabic Business Administration Department, or commerce, English Business Administration Department, or foreign trade, Business Administration Department, or management information systems, or management, accounting department, or a two-year commercial technical institute. He must also obtain training courses in quality systems concepts.
The customer service officer may be inexperienced (fresh graduate), or have one year of experience. He must be fluent in spoken and written Arabic and be proficient in expressive writing. He must also be fluent in English, at least, spoken and written.
