Ram Ramachandran is an Indian executive leading Tech Mahindra International

Ram Ramachandran has been Senior Vice President and Head of the Middle East and Africa Division at Tech Mahindra, a global outsourcing services company, from 2020 until now.

Ram is also a member of the Global Leadership Council of Tech Mahindra and Tech Mahindra Arabia.

He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology in 1996, and then obtained a master’s degree in information management from the SP Jain Institute in the Indian city of Mumbai in 2000.

Ramachandran joined Tech Mahindra Outsourcing Services in Singapore in 2009 and moved to Dubai in 2015.

It also supervises 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa, and more than 4,000 employees.

In 2023, Tech Mahindra signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, to establish a cloud center of excellence for data, artificial intelligence and cloud services in Riyadh.

It also established the first global delivery center in Egypt and an innovation center in Amman. He is also a member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in the Middle East, and a member of the Advisory Council of the IDC in the region.

Ram has more than 10 years of practical experience in the information technology industry. Before joining Tech Mahindra, he worked as a sales officer for HCL Technologies in the American, Singapore and British markets.

Ram has skills in leading the growth of IT companies and digital enterprises, and fostering lasting relationships with customers and partners across diverse regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the US.

He was honored by Forbes magazine as one of the top 100 global and local executives in the Middle East, in addition to the top 50 Indian CEOs in the Arab world.
