“TTEC” Aims to Open New Contact Center in Egypt with a Capacity of 1,000 Seats in 2026
The global outsourcing services company, TTEC, aims to open a new contact center in Egypt with a capacity of no less than 1,000 seats during 2026.

Manou Ragab, Managing Director of TTEC Egypt, stated that TTEC currently serves its clients from the Maadi Technology Park with 660 seats.

Following the opening of the new center, the number is expected to rise to more than 1,660, noting that the new facility is initially expected to be headquartered in Cairo.

In exclusive statements, Manou explained that this step represents the beginning of the company’s expansion in the local market, which later includes plans to branch out and spread into other governorates that have fully equipped technology zones, with support from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

She pointed out that TTEC Egypt currently serves its clients in 11 languages, including Arabic, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian, and is set to introduce Turkish during the first half of 2026.

She affirmed that the market is capable of providing outsourcing services in 20 diverse languages.

She revealed that the company signed a cooperation agreement with ITIDA on the sidelines of the Global Outsourcing Services Summit hosted by Cairo last week to hire 4,500 employees at TTEC Egypt over the next three years.

She mentioned that the company began the pilot phase of its branch in Egypt in 2023 and, in less than two years, succeeded in attracting a large number of clients, increasing its workforce, and implementing further expansions.

She continued: “The TTEC Egypt branch successfully proved its ability to provide excellent customer service that earned the global company’s appreciation, and the branch has become important on TTEC’s map in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe region due to its language diversity.”

Manou regarded the Global Outsourcing Services Summit, organized by the Ministry of Communications and ITIDA a few days ago, as a positive step reflecting the government’s and political leadership’s interest in this promising industry, praising the significant role played by the Ministry of Communications, led by Dr. Amr Talaat, and ITIDA.

She elaborated: “The summit brought together the heads of several major global companies in the outsourcing services industry at one table to exchange expertise and learn about Egypt’s competitive advantages in the industry,” noting that the government offers facilities and incentives to these companies, which boosts the sector’s growth prospects in the coming period and contributes to improving the country’s image.

She stressed that Egypt needed the convening of such international forums and conferences to market its competitive advantages to all countries worldwide, chief among them being its linguistic diversity and the availability of qualified human cadres.

She noted that all these global efforts will position Egypt at the top globally in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services industry.

For his part, Simon Garabedian, Executive Vice President of Operations at TTEC Global for the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, affirmed that the company has operations in multiple geographical regions worldwide, including South America, Asia, and the Middle East, and views Egypt as a pivotal and strategic center in the region.

Simon pointed out that TTEC Global employs 45,000 people, noting that Egypt is witnessing increasing growth in the BPO services industry, supported by continuous government efforts and the strategic partnership with ITIDA.

He considered Egypt a promising, massive market full of exciting investment opportunities, urging global companies to invest quickly in the country, especially since it possesses a set of competitive advantages, foremost among them being advanced infrastructure, a public-private partnership, and highly trained cadres, with 760,000 high-level graduates graduating from universities annually.

He confirmed that Egypt also distinguishes itself from other countries with its highly competitive cost, revealing that the company intends to inject millions of dollars into the Egyptian market next year to expand the volume of its operations and hire new employees.
