The Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, invested about $6 billion<\/strong> in developing the digital infrastructure network over the past six years, according to previous press statements by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This comes within the framework of plans to encourage foreign investments in the outsourcing services industry and bring foreign currency into the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to data issued by the Ministry of Communications, there are 15.5 million homes<\/strong> connected to the internet in Egypt, with a service penetration rate reaching 74%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Egypt’s ranking in average fixed internet service speeds has seen significant development across the African continent during the period from 2019 to 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service speed increased from $6.7$ Megabits per second (Mbps) in 2019 to $89.77$ Mbps in 2025, positioning Egypt at first place in Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents under the age of 35 account for 64%<\/strong> of the total population in Egypt, with 51% male<\/strong> compared to 49% female<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also more than 130 universities<\/strong> across the Republic, graduating 760,000 students<\/strong> annually, including over 50,000 graduates<\/strong> from faculties of computers and information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Egypt is also distinguished by having highly skilled human resources who speak more than 20 diverse languages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
