Hans-Peter Melrod serves as the CEO of Zalaris for Human Resources outsourcing services in Central and Western Europe, the Baltics, and the Nordic countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He began his career as a General Manager and consultant at outsourcing firms in Germany and Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to founding Zalaris, Hans-Peter was a Partner at Accenture, where he was responsible for business development within the Nordic outsourcing unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also served as a Manager at Accenture, where he established the Shared Accounting Services Unit in Stavanger, which consolidated the accounting operations for major oil companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hans holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also holds the position of Co-Founding Partner at Andersen Consulting, where he was responsible for business development within the Nordic outsourcing unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zalaris was founded in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, in 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It offers cloud-based advisory and outsourcing services covering all aspects of payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) operations within companies, including recruiting and onboarding, global master data, talent management, time and attendance, travel expenses, and payroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zalaris was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2014 and recorded annual sales reaching 730 million Norwegian Kroner in 2017, three years after its public listing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over time, it acquired several other entities, including Germany’s Sumarum AG and the UK’s ROC Global Solution Consulting Limited, further strengthening its presence in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hans is known for engaging in fitness activities, including cycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He won the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in Norway in 2017 and was also nominated for the global award in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
