Many companies previously used Form 6 as a pressure tactic without any legal basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the Manpower Committee in the Egyptian Parliament approved the new labor law, which includes the abolition of Form 6, a document that was often misused to facilitate arbitrary dismissals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This amendment aims to ensure greater job security, promote a fair work environment, and align with the government\u2019s vision of supporting workers while regulating the labor market in a more equitable and sustainable manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The new law also introduces a modern approach to labor rights for both employees and employers, ensuring a balanced relationship between the two parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This aligns with Egypt\u2019s recent economic developments, including industrial, commercial, and agricultural advancements, the attraction of domestic and foreign investments, and the empowerment of the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Magdy: Threatens Job Security and Has No Place in the Outsourcing Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Sadiq Magdy, General Manager of Telecommunicate Egypt, emphasized that Form 6 was an unacceptable practice, noting that most outsourcing companies do not rely on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">He added that forcing an employee to sign a resignation letter before starting work negatively affects their sense of job security. He stressed the need to eliminate such practices in the labor market to foster a more trustworthy and stable work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Fouad: A Positive Step Toward Greater Job Security and Stability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Shaimaa Fouad, CEO of Winners Outsourcing &amp; Recruitment, stated that the misuse of Form 6 had previously led to a lack of trust between companies and their employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Some businesses used it as a pressure tool, requiring their staff to sign it as part of the hiring process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Fouad explained that Form 6 allowed companies to terminate employees arbitrarily without justification, depriving them of their rights.
