Today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, witnessed the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA<\/u><\/a>) and global technology and services leader Concentrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Mr. Chris Caldwell, President and CEO of Concentrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, and Mr. Amr Sobhi, General Manager of Concentrix Egypt, aims to strengthen the partnership between the two parties and support the expansion of Concentrix Egypt\u2019s export-focused services to a wider range of international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement outlines the company\u2019s ambitious growth plans to create nearly 16,000 new jobs over the next four years, positioning Concentrix as one of the largest multinational companies in Egypt in terms of workforce and job creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion aligns with the country\u2019s strategy to promote sustainable youth employment and reinforces Egypt\u2019s thriving ICT sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly emphasized that Concentrix\u2019s interest in expanding its operations in Egypt through new investments and increasing its workforce reflects the country\u2019s prominent position as a global hub for outsourcing services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that this position has been solidified recently due to the government\u2019s endeavors in creating a business-friendly environment for global outsourcing companies and investing in digital skills development to prepare qualified specialists capable of exporting multilingual and digital services at competitive costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt\u2019s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stated: “Concentrix\u2019s decision to significantly expand its operations in Egypt represents a remarkable vote of confidence in the country\u2019s talented workforce and its position as a global hub for offshoring services.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued, “This expansion\u2014the largest of its kind in Egypt\u2019s outsourcing history\u2014not only reinforces the sector\u2019s competitiveness on a global scale but also contributes to creating thousands of high-value job opportunities for young Egyptians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As one of the key pillars of economic development, the outsourcing industry in Egypt is driving digital exports and fostering inclusive growth by empowering the nation\u2019s youth with the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concentrix has been operating in Egypt since 2009 and currently has 11 centers in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and Hurghada, where it focuses on providing technical support and customer service for global clients across various markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company plans to strengthen its presence in these centers, in addition to expanding into the city of Mansoura, reflecting its commitment to developing its operations and increasing its outsourcing service exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company’s employees in Egypt provide services to clients in various sectors, including e-commerce, communications, tourism, technology, banks, financial technology, healthcare, media, communications, and transportation. Services are delivered from these centers in 12 languages, including English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.<\/p>\n\n\n

Starting in 2009 with just 150 employees, the company has more than doubled its workforce in the past four years, reaching over 19,000 employees across 11 centers in multiple governorates. This expansion showcases Egypt\u2019s robust digital infrastructure and its capability to deliver scalable talent solutions for IT businesses and global service delivery centers,” El-Zaher added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Caldwell, President and CEO of Concentrix, commended the unwavering support from Egypt\u2019s top leadership and government, emphasizing its critical role in driving the country\u2019s ICT industry growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amr Sobhi; General Manager of Concentrix Egypt conveyed his excitement over Concentrix Egypt’s partnership with ITIDA, expressing confidence in achieving their strategic expansion goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He highlighted that an impressive 95% of the company’s employees are university graduates in diverse fields such as languages, commerce, business administration, engineering, and pharmacy.
