The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) plays a strategic role in attracting and developing the skills of university graduates to join the outsourcing industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its ambitious plan, ITIDA aims to equip companies with highly skilled personnel, thereby boosting Egypt’s IT exports, particularly outsourcing services which are a major source of foreign currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 15th Job Fair in Burg El Arab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ITIDA is set to organize the 15th job fair in Burg El Arab, Alexandria, on December 17th. The event aims to support students and graduates by providing real job opportunities and specialized workshops on technological innovation and professional development, with participation from industry speakers and experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event also serves as an interactive platform for participants to enhance their skills and network directly with the business community, opening new avenues for their career development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative is part of ITIDA’s efforts to connect qualified personnel with job opportunities in the sector, contributing to the growth of the IT industry in various governorates and stimulating investment in Egyptian talent capable of competing regionally and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IBM, Biscilex, Capgemini, Ijada, and Atos among the key participants in the 14th job fair<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITIDA had previously organized the 14th job fair virtually last October, with the participation of 35 IT companies, including 20 global and 15 local companies, offering more than 700 job opportunities in various fields such as information technology and embedded systems. The event also saw the registration of over 13,000 job seekers, with 8,189 attending in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notable participants included IBM, Biscilex, Capgemini, Ijada, Atos, SI Vision, Deloitte, Vodafone for Smart Solutions (VOIS), Smart Info, Yogo, Sonic, and Portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITIDA CEO: Egypt is committed to building a comprehensive system of human cadres to increase digital exports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, stated that the government is committed to building a comprehensive system of qualified human cadres with a matrix of skills and competencies to accelerate the pace of youth qualification through specialized training programs, and prepare them to work on digital transformation projects, export digital services, and the outsourcing industry, thereby contributing to increasing digital exports.<\/p>\n\n\n

Job market trends highlighted by the job fair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The job fair data revealed a high demand for a variety of jobs in the technology sector, with “Full Stack Developer” topping the list of most in-demand jobs, accounting for 11.97% of total available jobs, followed by “Design Engineer” at 8.55%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also a significant demand for “CRM System Engineer” and “Mobile Application Developer” positions on various operating systems, each accounting for 6.13% of total jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cairo attracted 38.7% of applicants, followed by Giza with 17.5% and Alexandria with 10.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fair also witnessed significant participation from the governorates of Mansoura (3.9%), Qalyubia (3.8%), Sharkia (3.1%), Gharbia (3%), Menoufia (2.9%), and Assiut (2.6%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent graduates accounted for 39.7% of job applicants, while 32.5% had less than two years of experience, 4.9% were university students, 14.4% had experience between two and five years, 3.3% had experience between five and seven years, 1.93% had experience between seven and ten years, and 3.17% had more than ten years of experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
